Atheistish pictures 12/14.

Ok, that last post was a good step toward alcoholism.  So let’s go with something light-hearted here.

Church sign reading "It's easier to believe a lie than to search for the truth."

FFRF billboard reading "Heathen's Greetings".

Why do conservatives seem to believe that outlawing guns won't prevent gun violence, but outlawing abortion will prevent abortion.

Crazy how corporations are people, but women's bodies are the property of the state.

It's so nice that you praise god on your facebook status. I bet god will "like" it as soon as he logs in.

Republicans like to point to the 1950s and 1960s as the "good old days" and a tme of "traditional values". In 1953 the tax rate on top earners was 94%. In 1954, 35% of workers belonged to a union.

When discussing unions with conservatives, I always enjoy pointing out that Ronald Reagan was the president of a union (the Screen Actors Guild).

A political cartoon with LGBT civil rights being staked to a cross with the guy holding the hammer saying "Quit squirming! You're oppressing our religious freedom!"

Biblibcal parenting. A man saying to his wife, "Honey, I'm fed up with our lousy kids. Let's keep NOah, drown the otehrs and start over. If the next batch doesn't turn out either, we'll keep the good ones and burn the rest."

"God will judge America over abortion and Gay Marriage." So let's get this straight....God didn't judge America over the millions of natives that were raped and murdered and had their land stolen. God didn't judge America over the millions of Africans that had boulders tied to their legs and were raped, murdered, and enslaved for centuries. And God didn't judge America over not taking care of the needs of the homeless, hungry, sick, and dying poor. But now God will judge America over abortion and gay marriage. OK....got it.

Santa saying "It's ok if you don't believe in me. I won't send you to hell."

Like that 1950s one. I’ve been arguing that for a long time. The conservatives actually want to return us to the 1890s. No unions, no votes for women, no rights for minorities, women married as soon as they could squeeze out babies, and poor people never went to college. Plus, they liked it when the corporation paid you in scrip that could only be used at the corporation’s stores, and you had to live in corporation housing, so they never actually had any of their money leave their hands into the workers, because it would all come back.

I remember having a WTH moment when Bob Dole (running for president) sounded nostalgic for the ‘progressive’ 1940s. At the time I assumed it was just that he’s old. Now I know that does count as forward for the (R).
